Elasto Painters clobber Fuel Masters
Rain or Shine Elasto Painters got their fifth win against a tight match with Phoenix Fuel Masters with a 5-point lead of 116-111 in the 2017 PBA Governor’s Cup held at the Ynares Center last September 13.

The Elasto Painters played smoothly, gaining control of the first half with 61-45 and gaining a double-digit lead.
J’nathan Bullock scored 17 points in the first quarter, widening the gap of 24-18.
The Fuel Masters, however, tried to catch the 16-point lead and dominated the third quarter with the score 83-84.
Matthew Wright flew several 3-point shots that helped them in the third quarter.
The Elasto Painters got back on their track, but the Fuel Masters were agitated to get their third win and the game ended in favor of the Elasto Painters.
Player of the game, Raymond Almazan, led his team with 25 points, 11 rebounds and 3 blocks.
With the Elasto Painter’s victory, they are decided to defend their win and boost their ranking on September 16 against the Barangay Ginebra Kings at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Meanwhile, the defeated Fuel Masters will go against the San Miguel Beermen on September 20 at the Ynares Center.
