Around hundreds of people, only one has been placed in the spotlight. Being used to his everyday work-staying in front of the camera, Igan now shares the same room with millennials surrounded by aisles filled with books.

He began his passion for arts when he was a cartoonist of the publication. As a proud former member, he said that when he sketches, he expresses.

Journalism from within

What he learned from his classes applied to his practice of journalism, he said that UST made him different among other journalism graduates. He shared that they (journalists and student journalists) should get both sides of the story and never show biases.

“Syempre, proud ako sa inyo dahil sabi nga, sa The Flame, ‘You keep the flame’.”

Believing in the future
