The Chainsmokers gave their PH fans a night to remember
The long wait was over. After five years of keeping the country fused with energetic beats and creatively sown pitches, fans of the Grammy-winning duo, Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall or generically known as The Chainsmokers, woke up the crowd with their Memories Do Not Open World Tour on September 13 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Presented by Globe and MMI Live, the electrifying duo was warmly welcomed by the Filipino crowd. Returning to Manila after a year, this one-night concert was something no one missed. Despite being set on a weekday, fans didn’t hesitate to attend the event, wanting to see the boys was their dream come true.
Formed in 2012, the New York tandem with their EDM mixes were known worldwide with their chart-topping song “Roses”. Including other hit singles such as “Don’t Let Me Down” and “Closer.”
Performing songs from their "Memories Do Not Open" album and as well as their other hits truly made the event memorable. Fans went home with fast heartbeats, widely drawn smiles, and pictures for the books.
