ROS sets up KO game against TNT

Rain or Shine (ROS) Elasto Painters forced a do-or-die match after winning against Talk ‘N Text (TNT) KaTropa, 106-102, in PBA Governor’s Cup Quarterfinals at the Mall Of Asia Arena, Wednesday.

The Elasto Painters seized the twice-to-beat advantage of KaTropa who ranked number two in the standings.

In the first seven minutes of the first quarter, Anthony Semerad already had 11 points for TNT.

Bullock launched a three during the second quarter that gave ROS a 52-44 lead.

Kelly Williams also completed an alley-oop from the pass of Jayson Castro that made TNT down, 66-67 in third quarter.

At the last quarter, TNT held an 11-0 run that led ROS down to nine, 93-102.

Williams led TNT with 23 points and 10 rebounds adding Castro’s 22 points and Rosario’s 10 points.

Gabe Norwood was hailed as the Bida Player of the Game finishing with 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists.

For ROS, on the other hand, J’Nathan Bullock fired seven triples and contributed a lot in scoring a game-high of 31 points and 14 rebounds.

The knockout duel will be on Friday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
