The first quarter began with an aggressive start from the Bulldogs, with Enzo Joson gaining the first three points, ending it with 25-21 in favor of the Bulldogs.

Although Jayjay Alejandro III was on-roll in the second quarter, the Blue Eagles dominated at 47-43.

According to Miguel Dypianco, courtside reporter of the NU Bulldogs, Coach Jamike said that his boys should be good in defense to be able to beat the Blue Eagles.

The third quarter started with fierceness on both sides, with Vince Tolentino who shot from the pocket pass of Thirdy Ravena.

At some point in the quarter, both teams tied at 51 points and ended with a 6-point lead of 71-65, in favor of the Blue Eagles.

The Blue Eagles got their first double-digit lead in the fourth quarter, with their improvement in offense.

This sixth win for the Eagles was led by Chibueze Ikeh with 18 points, 11 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 1 assist.

The Bulldogs must still have the will to win over the University of the Philippines Maroons on Oct. 8, Sunday, at SM Mall of Asia Arena.

The Blue Eagles, however, should be ready for their game against De La Salle Green Archers also on Sunday, same venue.
