Seventeen concludes their 1st world tour 'Diamond Edge' in Manila

Korean pop idol group Seventeen sparked excitement to the lives of their PH fans for the second time around with their spectacular performances for the last stop of their 1st world tour “Diamond Edge” on October 6 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Seventeen is currently one of the biggest K-pop groups that features 13 talented members with three sub-units namely: hip-hop unit (S.coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu, Vernon), vocals unit (Jeonghan, Joshua, Woozi, DK, Seungkwan) and performance unit (Jun, Hoshi, The8, Dino).

They energetically performed songs from their 4th mini album “Al1” accompanied by their other hits, such as “Mansae”, “Pretty U” and “Healing”. Their Filipino fans responded by singing their hearts out and waving their light sticks.

PH fans surprised Seventeen with a fan project by presenting them an ocean of rose quartz and serenity blue, the group’s official colors, which was emitted from their light sticks with the help of Japanese paper, giving the group themselves a night to remember as well.

During the concert MMI Live promoted, performance unit member Jun officially revealed the title of their new track, entitled “Lilili Yabbay”, for their “2017 SEVENTEEN Project”. Seventeen will also have their comeback on November 6 as part of the stated project.

Seventeen successfully started their 1st world tour, "Diamond Edge," in Seoul with a 3-night sold out concert, more than 30,000 fans came to Jamsil Auxiliary Stadium in order to experience Seventeen's fire and water concept firsthand.

They then headed to Saitama, Bangkok, and Hong Kong. Afterwards, they made their way to North America specifically in Chicago, Dallas, Toronto and New York after two years of fans awaiting them. Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Singapore and Taipei also got to experience their performance before they ended the tour Manila.

Last year, the group visited Manila as part of their 1st Asia tour, "Shining Diamond," at the Theatre at Solaire Resort on August 14 and 15. Members Jun and The8 were unable to attend due to personal reasons, making this year's concert their first arena concert and first concert as a whole group in Manila.
