The Bolts managed to cut the Kings’ winning streak with a double-digit lead of 94-81.

Player of the game Allen Durham carried the Bolts to get back on the winning track finishing with a game-high 38 points, 20 rebounds, and four assists.

Durham was all around, pulled 75-77 with six minutes left, and dragged with a settled 19-4 finishing kick, that throbbed Gin Kings and helped Bolts prune their record to 1-2.

Early in the game, things were in favor of Gin Kings as they picked up a 14-5 start, but Meralco’s Anjo Caram contributed some spark off the bench, pouring seven points in the first period as both teams tied the game at 21-all.

Reynel Hugnatan was also a great help as he stepped up big time in the game and stunned the Gin Kings by bucketing 22 points from seven triples and five on boards.

For Ginebra, Justin Brownlee only recorded 15 points to lead his team, his lowest output of the finals series.

At the end of the game, Ginebra’s Coach Tim Cone got mad and refused to shake hands with Meralco’s Coach Norman Black for calling a timeout late in the game.

Game four will be on Friday, 7 p.m. at the Big Dome as well.
