Thor Ragnarok: The God of…Hammers?

Thor (Chris Hemsworth), the mighty Norse god of thunder is back in the new Marvel’s Cinematic Universe in Thor: Ragnarok.
The story is about the prophecy of the downfall of the whole Asgard and Thor and his company to rescue it from the hands of Hela.
The film directed by Taika Waititi is another instalment of the Thor franchise that offers a genre of action, adventure, comedy and sci-fi. The two hours and ten minutes of your life that is certainly worth it.
In this movie, Thor unravels a new journey of protecting his people from being destroyed by an apocalypse or ragnarok, now being stuck in Sicar and facing a battle with a friend from work- Thor and The Incredible Hulk together with his new found friends and his brother Loki, go forth to save Asgard.
Other than the creatively woven banter and comedic scenarios, the Marvel Studios instalment never failed its sci-fi fans of witnessing marvellous effects and stunts pleasing to the eyes.
As expected from a Marvel movie, Stan Lee was present not only in a cameo, but also a short-lived extra in the movie.
Part of this movie are a set of amazing casts such as Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Anthony Hopkins and a new member of the Thor family, Cate Blanchett who played as Hela, the antagonist in the movie and also the sister of Thor.
The effects of the movie were sublime with the CGI together with the synchronization of the sounds and the costumes, which fits the characters perfectly and brings out their personalities.
Besides the wonderful effects and storyline, the movie is also a value-laden masterpiece which teaches the audience of the essence of family and self.
