Laboga, the driver of Trangia family, mentioned that on September 17, the day of the final initiation rites for Atio, he was with his "boss", Antonio Trangia, at his shop in Barangay Bancal, Meycauayan, Bulacan.
Antonio Trangia is the father of Ralph Trangia, one of the fraternity members accused of taking part in the hazing of Atio.
In addition, the driver also said that he never drove a red pickup truck, rather was only driving Trangia family's Pajero.
Laboga was mentioned by John Paul Solano as the one on the wheels of the red pickup which brought Atio to CGH in a convoy with a black Fortuner carrying Arvin Balag and Axel Hipe and motorcycle driven by Solano.
Solano is one of the fraternity members who first lied in telling the investigators about being a stranger and seeing Atio’s body dumped in Tondo. He later retracted what he said and admitted that he is a brod in the frat and was called on the morning of September 17 to resuscitate the neophyte after collapsing.
Sen. Grace Poe later said that she learned it was Arvin Balag’s driver who drove the red pickup and will be issuing subpoena for the driver assuming that Balag would not cooperate by not giving any statement. Arvin Balag is the leader of the Grand Praefectus of the fraternity and was cited in contempt during the previous senate hearing.
