DLSU routs AdU to advance in finals
No one wins with 3 quarters.
Although down in three quarters, the De La Salle Green Archers jumped back in the 4th quarter against the Adamson Soaring Falcons with 82-75, in the first game of the UAAP Final Four held in Araneta Coliseum, Saturday.

It was a good start for the Falcons with Rob Manalang scoring the first 3-point basket.
They managed to end the 1st quarter with a double-digit lead of 21-11 that gave Green Archers the wake-up call to do better.
The Green Archers got back on their feet when Ricci Rivero showed a great defense after he managed to block a steal ball of the Falcons.
The Archers were able to narrow the gap, but to no avail, failed to do so in the 2nd quarter with the Falcons outscoring them with 33-39. Indeed, it was a tough quarter.
Ben Mbala of the Green Archers was on a roll in the 3rd quarter but the Falcons did not want a close score, so it ended with 54-63, in favor of the Falcons. Aggressiveness was seen in both teams.
Although the Green Archers were underperforming in the last quarters, they proved their worth by closing the scores with a 7-point lead of 82-75.
Mbala of the Green Archers really did help his team as he scored the most in the game with 27 points.
Santi Santillan was hailed as the Player of the Game with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 1 assist.
The Green Archers have a “twice-to-beat” advantage that successfully brought them to the finals.
Now, what is left is their opponent that would be determined in the next game between the Ateneo Blue Eagles and Far Eastern University Tamaraws on November 19 also at Araneta Coliseum.
